Face It! She's Madonna

Every time I look at this classic shot of Madonna by Herb Ritts back in 1987, it reminds me of my first year in highschool. This picture graced the cover of my very first school calendar.

Pneu by Wim Delvoye

For his series titled "Pneu", Belgian artist Wim Delvoye created a series of decorative objects by hand-carving patterns and floral motifs on used car tires. What a contrast with those big piles of tires you normally see rotting away! Visit his very well designed website with his other works here.

One Man Mobile Studio

Oh how impressive! Studio photographer Eric Schwabel took his passion with him to Burning Man, built this great light suit for Burning Man and photographed the very well dressed visitors there. As you can see by the photos below the results are stunning! (picture above by Sidney Erthal)

Purgatory - Stephen Tamiesie

This stunning set of pictures of residences and landscaping in America's largest retirement community, Sun City, Arizona USA by photographer Stephen Tamiesie really caught my attention. I named this set purgatory myself, because this is what purgatory must be like! Those native americans did a much better job leaving the old folks high on a rock to die by themselves!
